If you want a more definitive answer, we've ranked which 2FA methods we consider the most and least secure. This is a matter of personal preference, so feel free to go with whichever one tickles your fancy. I personally use Google Prompt since it offers just a little extra touch of speed and convenience that's nice to have if you're frequently logging in and out of your account. Many companies already employ this feature, though under the name 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). In order to protect sensitive data, you must verify that the users trying to access that data are who they say they are. Once you have either Google Authenticator or Authy installed, you will be prompted to connect your account to the authentication app. To begin the MFA process, youll either need to download Google Authenticator or Authy on your mobile device. Google Authenticator might be a better choice if you have a bunch of other apps/sites that are also set up with two-factor, as it can act as one central place for all of your codes.
